Frequently Asked Questions*

Question: When should I begin shopping for my bridal gown?
Answer: It is best to start looking for gowns at least 9 to 12 months prior to your wedding date. The majority of our brides begin shopping 1 year ahead. That allows you enough time to narrow down your selection and order the gown of your dreams. Don't let the time bracket worry you because even if you do not have that much time there are a few different ways that Priscilla of Boston can accommodate you. We have sample gowns off the rack and there are some opportunities to fill rush orders for you. It can take anywhere from 6 to 9 months to produce a special order wedding gown. Yet, Priscilla of Boston can accommodate you with a sample gown. Occasionally we will fill rush orders, but an extra fee will be charged for this service if it is available on the particular style.

Any irregularities and variations in the texture and color of silk fabric are characteristic of the fabric adding to its natural beauty and is in no way considered as defective. Please note that some swatches are not available due to widths of fabrics and/or bead work.
