One of our favorite local bridal gown designers, Melissa Sweet, has been named Design Director for the Priscilla of Boston Collection. Sweet will continue designing her own line of dresses, but her business, which for years has been located in the big white mansion on Peachtree Road, will move down the street and join with the Priscilla of Boston Salon. Sweet launched her company 10 years ago, first selling her romantic gowns through Saks, Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.
