Alex and I got married in Bansko, Bulgaria, on May 15, 2010. Bansko is a popular ski resort and a great place for hiking in the mountain. It is also my grandmother's hometown.
A marriage near the mountain with a lot of green trees was a good balance for us because we got engaged in the Arizona desert in December 2008 before jumping out of a plane for a sky-dive.
I purchased my dress in the Boston location and the most stressful part was carrying it on a 7-hour plane ride, another 3-hour plane ride and a 4-our drive to our wedding location. But the dress lasted the journey without even getting a wrinkle. I had known all along that I wanted a Platinum dress from Priscilla and it dazzled everyone at my wedding. I did try on 5 other dresses before selecting it and was ready in just over a hour! The dress is now stored safely in my grandmother's house where occasionally neighbors and friends come to see it.
The designer of the Platinum collection made my vision of looking like a princess come true (pictures attached).
